The Queensland Brain Institute designed by John Wardle Architects in association with Wilson Architects has received two new awards – the Public Architecture Award and the Interior Architecture Award at the 2008 Australian Institute of Architects (AIA) Awards, Queensland Chapter. To quote the awards jury, “This outstanding building has established a new benchmark in design of research laboratory workplaces at the University of Queensland.”
