‘Perspectives on a Flat Surface’ is revealed

26 September 2016

The winning design for the Australian Tapestry Workshop’s first Tapestry Design Prize for Architects was cut off the loom with great ceremony.

As part of a lecture series for ‘On Top of the World’, a joint venture with Spacecraft, John Wardle spoke about the design process and craftsmanship behind the work. The tapestry was funded by Arts philanthropist Judith Neilson for who a private arts and performance space in Sydney is currently being designed in collaboration with Durbach Block Jaggers. A big thank you to the Australian Tapestry Workshop for their time, skill and generosity.
